Registrations will be limited for this popular event, so be sure to register early!  Unfortunately due to the limited space, AT THE DOOR REGISTRATIONS for any portion of the conference can not be accepted.  Please be sure to get your full registration payments in early.  Any registration remaining unpaid on February 2nd will be dropped to ensure space for additional registratrants.  

SATURDAY ONLY REGISTRATIONS will be limited to 100 attendees total.

The California Association of School Transportation Officials offers an Annual Conference for all pupil transportation staff, such as Drivers, Attendants, Driver Instructors, Dispatchers, Supervisors, Lead Mechanics, Directors, and Chief Business Officials.  During workshops, attendees will learn about ever-changing laws, rules, and regulations governing school pupil transportation. They will discover the latest and greatest products at the vendor reception, showcasing industry-related products and services. The Managers Forum offers an excellent opportunity for networking with colleagues, vendors, and state officials.

56th CASTO Annual State Conference will be held in Garden Grove, CA. February 24 through February 26, 2024

Full Conference pricing will increase after January 31st, 2024. 

PRE-CONFERENCE SPECIAL EVENT
Join us on Friday, February 23, 2024 for a special CASTO Bowling session at a local alley.  The cost is $40.00.  A free shuttle service, will be provided to all participants to and from the bowling event.  

CONFERENCE FACILITIES AND HOUSING
On a busy palm tree–lined street, this down-to-earth hotel is a mile from Anaheim Convention Center, 3 miles from Disneyland Resort and 2 miles from Interstate 5Relaxed rooms provide free Wi-Fi, minifridges, Keurig tea and coffeemakers, and safes. CASTO Ride & Drive

CALSTART, in collaboration with CASTO, will host an Electric School Bus Event on Sunday, February 25, 2024.  This half-Day event will offer an opportunity for transportation directors, drivers, mechanics, and other school district staff to gather for interactive presentations on the transition to a zero-emission school bus fleet, charting infrastructure and funding oportunities, primarily through the HVIP Public School Bus Set-Aside and EnergIIZE. 

Sunday Night at Knotts Berry Farm

After the vendor Meet and Greet event, we invite you to join us at Knott’s Berry Farm. This is an excellent opportunity to spend some quality time with your customers and colleagues while enjoying the various attractions at Knott’s Berry Farm. Kindly note that the tickets must be purchased in advance, and each ticket costs $39.00.

Registrations that remain unpaid on February 2, 2024 will be dropped due to limited space for this event.

Cancellation requests must be in writing and postmarked no later than February 2, 2024. You may email cancellations to cceleste@orangeusd.org. CASTO will assess a 10% fee to cover the cost involved with cancellations. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations received after February 2, 2024 or for no shows. CASTO will impose a $25.00 fee for returned checks.
