As CASTO celebrates 59 years of pupil transportation safety, we invite you to join us at the 2027 CASTO State Conference in Sacramento, California on February 27 - March 1, 2027.
Conference Facilities and Housing
Off the Capital City Freeway, we’re across from shopping and dining at Arden Fair mall. A movie theater, comedy club, and Cal Expo Racetrack are within two miles, and downtown is four miles away. We offer a restaurant, lounge, and market, proudly serving Starbucks® coffee. Enjoy our outdoor pool, free WiFi, and a warm DoubleTree Cookie at check in.

EXHIBIT SHOW / ACTIVITIES
Friday, February 26: Join us for CASTO Bowling at 11:00 a.m. Buses will depart from the hotel lobby at 10:15 a.m. Individual cost is $75. Sponsorship is available for $250 and includes one free bowling registration.
Vendor set-up is scheduled 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Tear down immediately follows the conclusion of the show.
Saturday, February 27: Show Hours: General 11:15 am - 12:30 pm & 3:00 - 5:00 pm, Managers and Directors ONLY 1:45 - 3:00 pm. Please join us for dinner followed by a Roaring 20's night. Feel free to dress the part! Tickets are $150 Please consider joining us for dinner instead of taking a group out away from the event. We have tables for 10 reserved for you and your guests for a discounted price.
Sunday, February 28: Conference opens at 8:00 a.m. with breakfast, announcement of the poster contest winner, awards, election results, and installation of the CASTO 2027-2028 State Executive Board. Breakfast tickets are $65.
Sunday, February 28: Vendor “Meet and Greet” Didn’t get enough time to speak to the attendees at the trade show? No problem! Now you can at the “Meet and greet” event. This opportunity is $1,000 includes round table opportunity to speak more intimately with the decision makers in a closed setting. Afternoon refreshments will be served. This is only open for vendors who participate in the Meet and Greet sponsorship.

Cancellation requests must be in writing and postmarked no later than February 8, 2027. You may email cancellations to flossie.lopez@smusd.org. CASTO will assess a 10% fee to cover the cost involved with cancellations. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations/changes received after February 8, 2027 or for no shows.
